290x crossfire PSU

Assuming you're not running a very power hungry overclock on a hungry CPU or other unusual component, you can run 290X crossfire on a good quality 750W PSU. If you're looking for overclocking headroom, then you're definitely looking for a 1000W PSU.

If I remember rightly the Tagan PSUs are good quality ones, so you'll be fine unless you're looking to go big with the overclock and overvolt on the GPUs, then you'll need to borrow one of 8Pack's nuclear power stations. :D

Only problem is I am not sure it has enough 8pin ( guessing 290x requires 2) Connectors.

Might be tidier to get a nice new psu.
