Have watched a couple of reviews on this card, and says max resolution was less than 5760x1080, cant find the video this morning, but i think it was referring to a 2000x 2000 odd type resolution, maybe thats a 4k single screen type?
Sorry as cant find the vid, cant give the exact number stated, but it was around that spec.

The second Question is it states that it will require a 750 watt min PSU.
I have an anatec 750W, However it runs a sandybridge 4.5ghz overclock, 1xSSD, and 2x HDD"s. Do you think it would manage.

I have two 680"s in SLI, The reason i want to change is, for a year now i have been struggling with iracing, Crashing with an error report relating to DLL files and "false entries"
This happens no matter how many times i re install the game, change drivers, re install the operating system, change hard drive, check for viruses. check run CPU,Ram, Graphics card checks.
Im at the end of my tether with this, and assume that AMD does not use these files ?

4K resolution is 3840x2160 and would require 2 cards min to power that resolution.

As for your PSU, a single 290 will be fine on your 750w, but you may have to upgrade to something bigger if you wanted to run crossfire.

Have you tried your cards individually to see if they crash then? What are the crash reports you're getting? BSOD's? Which driver versions have you tried?

Hi thanks snip86x, Iv tried all the drivers in the last year or so, am on the one released a couple of weeks ago.
The only thing i have not tried is one card, Thats my next attempt if the game crashes tonight, Iv been trying to avoid that cause of the drop in framerates, but that is next on the list to work through. Though it seems software related or at least i assume because it related to error in files. I do graphics tests, and power and stability is fine, as in every other game.
Here is a typical error log

stack @ 0x0000000007ACEB50
App Base=0x0000000140000000
Warning: Trace may contain false entries...
Finished
Exception Module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nvd3dumx.dll

I had a similar issue with one of my GTX660's before I sold them. One of them was faulty and went for an RMA for this reason. MSI identified the fault and replaced with a new unit, I would recommend testing individually before moving to replace them!

Just to establish its not your overclock, have you tried running the PC through a quick burn-in test using on-board video? It don't think its an overclock issue as the code doesnt correspond to a known BSOD code.

I know someone else with the exact same issue on a 660. "quick burn in test" ? Iv re tested my overclock just with prime 95, no errors or overheating. for the record in iracing i think my hottest core from memory is about 65 degree"s.
It is also an MSI, I have two twin froza"s 680 4GB"s This actually could be a hardware GPU problem ? TBH they run fautless with everything else, nice and smooth
