Hello, was just hoping someone with a lot of experience overclocking these cards could give me a hand sorting out a memory issue im having. Basically i can clock both cards using Trixx/AB to 1230/1700, but i tend to run them at 1200/1600 so i can drop the voltage.

The problem comes when i go to set the clocks in the bios, the first card works fine, i can set the same clocks nps and everything is dandy, when it comes to the second card i can set the gpu speed nps but the mem gets stuck at around 1300mhz, i adjusted the VDDCI and that gave me about 1400mhz but im still miles away from what i get setting the ram using Trixx/AB. Plus i never had to adjust that in AB to get a decent ram speed.

I tried setting lower ram speeds for all the DPM states except Max and idle which i left alone, but it doesnt make a difference because it still starts artifacting or crashes the drivers as soon as i hit the max state and it goes to 1400mhz.

Im guessing changing the voltage in third party software is changing more things than i am in the bios, but im not sure what as im new to bios editing and im just getting the info from a guide.

If anyone has any ideas i can try then cheers.

Try adding an offset rather than increasing the voltage for the dpm states.

You have to do that via a hex editor rather than hawaii reader or whatever its called.
