** 290X ONLY £269.99: ONLY 100PC!! **

Just bought this card, one slight concern is the heat of this thing, considering i have an air-cooled machine, its going to be challenging keeping this thing to a steady heat.

I am Considering a NZXT GPU Cooler with a H55 or something but thats an extra £80 to keep it cool. Though the £100 off made me want it even more so hmmm.

had this tricky decision also, I would go with Just Cause 2, an insanely fun game!

I recently went for Alien Isolation, Tomb Raider and the "as clear as mud" (as regards what we will get) Star Citizen.

What strikes me most is that very few of the games are ones that I think of as being for girls/women, I specifically chose Tomb Raider in case it remotely interested by better half.

hahaha the exact same reason im picking up tomb raider for the other half i havent redeemed mine yet is there a way to gift them or keep them in a steam inventory as im currently building her pc bit by bit and don't want to tie the games down to my account?
 
I was also looking at star-citizen and its really unclear as to what it is. Im guessing is that there is no game. its literally all DLC.
 
star citizen is still in its alpha gonna be a space sim game probably come out 2016.

Also when trying to get my gold code i get this message: You must logout and login with the account used to order this voucher.

Also just fitted the 290x without the waterblock and im getting an idle temp of 78 degrees with fan speed at 33%

Anyone else got any problems card is at stock speeds all i've done is install AMD catalyst upto date driver for this card!
Starting in safe mode to remove drivers and remove card as i think im going to have to RMA this card
 
Weird!!! just restarted my pc didn't go into safe mode and it's gone back to idling at 41 degrees and 20 %fan speed which is the lowest and is quiet again now!!?
I'm hoping that was software related just not sure why on an empty desktop it spiked the gpu clock to 1000hz instead of 300hz at idle? and the memory clock now at idle is 150hz and it was at 1250hz
anyone else had this happen to them?
