295 GTX temp while gaming

Hi all, on games, my TEMP according to SpeedFan is going up high, and i swear i am getting like "stutturing" in game. My temp when gaming will get up to 99-105C is this bad?

A number of questions come to mind, I assume it is air cooled? what's the airflow like through the case. Are the card fans running? Has the card been modified - overclocked or the cooler changed?

What temp is the CPU running at?

What is the spec of the whole PC.

use nTune for a second op on the Temps.

Make sure your heatsink is not a blanket of Dust

Is it a single or Double PCB? I have a single PCB and the highest I've ever seen it was lingering around 70c, usually around 60 - 65.

Are you using the 196.75 drivers which had a problem with not ramping up the fan under load?
