295 problem

Got a GTX 295 today (BFG) and when I run any games or 3d mark - they run for about 2 minutes then I get a full lock up of the system. My PSU is an old Dark Power 1000 Watt (Be Quiet) - is it likely to be the PSU? Asking as I did a clean install as well and got the same problem

It says 75v in total across the 12v rails. Would it make a difference that the PSU Is nearly 3 years old despite it being a 1000 watt model. If I take out the 295 and put back my 280 it works perfectly! Agggrrr

Temps seem ok - happens even when the case is wide open to air too.

Well I've tried the card in single gpu mode and it ran fine. Seem when Multi GPU is enabled that it all goes to pot. The only other thing I can think of is that I have a crossfire board - yet I was told the GTX 295 still works fine in that.
