This is starting to drive me mad now.
With a xfire setup, is it possible to have all 4 clocks ( core x2, memx2 ) all running at the same speeds at the same time ?
I either want powerplay to work on both cards, or not at all
Is this possible ?

so i either want 850 core with 1200 mem on both cards or 157 - 300

I use ATI Tray Tools', profiles and Auto overclocking options to set this up on my single card system and it works well. Not sure about crossfire systems. It was quite fiddly to set up though.

Make two profiles in CCC, one at default clocks and the other 3D one, you need to edit the xml file so all clocks are set to 3d for 3d profile, activate the 3d profile when you want max clocks, if this works for xfire I would not know.

thanks guys
@ raven, i have a feeling this doesnt work for xfire
thing is if i do this and edit the profile and it works, will afterburner then screw it all up ? i need afterburner running and ccc disabled to run my fan profile ( ccc and afterburner dont run together well here )

because as i posted in a thread yesterday ( that nobody replied to ) when im playing a certain game, my clocks will be flatout 850 - 1200 and then for some reason with will go to 2d clocks for about 2 seconds, then back up to 3d,
I want to see if i force 3d will it stop.
It doesnt to it all the time, and only in this game, but its starting to bug me !

Yeah I got that in BF2, the afterburner unofficial overclocking and the profile thing worked for me. Don't know why ATI don't get with the game and introduce a powerplay override in the CCC similar to what Nvidia has.

no, system freezes up, i followed instructions that you posted in a similar thread " stupid ati drivers " yesterday, same thing but editing the afterburner profile, same thing happened, freeze or bsod
i will just have to live with it for now
thanks anyway
