Hi all. Just about at the end of my tether with my MSI HD 5850 oc gpu. Had it for just over a month and to start with had the dual monitor flickering problem which I sorted by downclocking the 3D memory frequency down to 1000. Quite regulary the PC would crash and I thought it could be related to this but it appears not. When gaming the PC is as 100% stable but when at desktop or anything it is really unstable. Either a reboot with a BSOD. (mini dump files have been analysed and drivers which seemed to be causing problems have been removed) but still no joy. If it doesn't reboot I will get a lock-up and screen corruption, which needs a restart which sometimes causes PC to not post resulting in a cmos reset. I have run every test going but still no joy. It just seems that the card just doesn't like desktop mode. I have contacted MSI support and am awaiting a reply. I expect they will send me an updated bios or start an RMA which I would rather not do as the reference HD 5850s' are nowhere to be seen. Any idea's? I'm attaching a pic of the screen corruption when it locks up. Any input greatly appreciated. All temps are fine.

System specs....Windows 7 64bit, Antec truepower new 650 Watt, MSI 975x Platinum PowerUp edition, Q6700@ stock, 4Gb Corsair XMS 6400 DDR 2.
