2ds vs 3ds .. Which is better ?

Hey, looks like the 2ds is on offer for £79 at the moment , been looking to get one or the 3ds but not sure if I should or wait for a offer on the 3ds.

If you're not bothered about lack of 3d or flip top get one the screen is fairly nice, if you like Nintendo there are some very good games. I was considering one at £79 for a laugh.

I have all 3 models, I find the 3DS XL better but that's because I can hold it easier.

Look at the battery life too, it varies quite a bit. I think it goes like this 3DSXL > 2DS > 3DS.

3DS XL is the best, 2DS is much more comfortable to hold (better button placement, bigger L + R triggers) than the standard 3DS.

For £79 it's a bargain and worth every penny, there's loads of great 3DS games.

As for the mono speaker thing, just plug in some earbuds and you've got stereo again. Not that the mono speaker is a big deal, still sounds great to be honest.

We have in the family the 3ds and an XL, i never touched the normal 3ds after the XL came because i really like the screen on the XL. A friend of mine has the 2ds and even though it feels better that the normal sized 3ds, i cannot play as happily as i do in the XL. But that is me. If you dont mind about smaller screen go for it. I would pay the extra 20 and go for the XL. Either way it has lots of great games. I enjoyed Mario3d more in the 3ds than i did in the Wii U.

Yup 3DS XL. The only real downside of the XL is that the screen is the same res as the regular 3DS, so you notice the pixels a bit more, but seeing as Nintendo games aren't all about the graphics, that point is kind of moot.
