i got a couple of questions regarding this memory...

When i bought it i seem to remember that this memory only did 2.5-3-3-7 on A64 systems, or so i thought? i can't remember where i seen it... however i've just recently been lookin on the spec for this ram on http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/products/specs/twinx2048-3200c2.pdf and it states 2-3-3-6 with a voltage of 2.75 on amd systems.
It simply won't run at these timings with 2.8v even, and the memory just will not go over 210Mhz at 2.5 - 3-3-7 , 2.8v... Have i landed myself with ***** memory?

Anyway, its holding me back on my overclocking, i was wondering what the max safe voltage is for this mem.. as i want to get it running at 2-3-3-6 and as fast as possible?

You may have a dodgey set, but those DFIs can be a little tricky to master and Corsair is not known for performing well on them. Go over to DFI street and read some of the FAQs there and ask Angry_games if you can, he's the expert.

P.S. I don't know what power supply you are using but if you do talk to Angry then him it is at least a 480 or so otherwise they'll tell you it's a PSU problem. Angry is very knowledgeable but 'It's a power supply problem' is almost DFI mantra.

A few weeks ago I dumped a two year old set of Corsair 3200 TwinXLL Pro memory that had run perfectly in my previous Intel based system. However, when I moved to an AMD system I found that the Corsair memory would not run at default speed in my NF4 Ultra mobo. In order to get it stable I had to underclock it to 333Mhz. The corsair memory still works in the Intel system. For the AMD system I bought a 2Gb dual Patriot kit which is very stable at 1T at default. I don't overclock.

I should add that the Corsair memory voltage had to be run at 2.8 volts for stability. This setting was recommended at the time by RamGuy on the House of Help forum.

Have you flashed your motherboard bios to the latest version? 623 or 704 work fine with all the Corsair RAM I've tried in it (3200LL, XMS3200 and 3500LL). I had no end of problems with the old bios's though...

I've had some minor memory probs using 2x512Mb Corsair PC3200XMS C2PT in my Ultra-D (623 BIOS).
However, once i had applied all the suggested settings from the DFI forum it worked fine at 204MHz @ 2.8v (fails Prime95 @2.7v) It doesnt seem to want to clock to well though with slacker timings.
Main timings i am using are 2.5, 3, 3, 8 which are the timings its rated for @ 200MHz.
Take a look at this thread for all the settings for your Corsair:-
