Hi
As the existing memory in my PC has developed a fault (2GB Corsair XMS DDR2-800) I've sent it back for replacement. In the mean while I've bought 1GB of cheap PNY DDR2-667 memory to tide me over
My question is would I get better performance on my AMD system with 2GB of ram at DDR2-800 or 3GB at DDR2-667 on Vista Business 64-bit? Do the AM2 processors have the same limitation as the later S939 chips in that they have to run at 2T timings for four sticks?
My motherboard is the MSI K9N-SLI with the nForce 570 SLI chipset
Thanks in advance for any replies,
Alistair
