Hi guys, I have been running my PC3200 Geil Ram for a bit too long I think and its time to look for an upgrade.

To be honest, when it comes to memory Im a bit lost, so any help you can offer would be great :)

Currently Im running:

Fx-55
1gb pc3200 DDR2 Geil golden dragon
K8n Neo platinum 2 MB
x1950

Im looking to upgrade to 2gb Ram, but Im not overly fussed about OCing

Which would be best for me?

Thanks

OcUK value 2Gb PC3200 would be fine if you don't want to overclock.

Alternatively you could go second hand and look for something like GSkill ZX for some ultra-tight timings.:)

Would it be worth going for something a bit more expensive if it'll run a bit better or more stable or am I likely, with my current setup anyway, to not notice a difference?

Also, would it be worth going for a pc4000 or 6400?? I dont really understand how they correlate anymore :(

ta :)

Get some DDR400 with 2-2-2-5, I assume you are clocking your 55 with the multi only so you dont need any higher than DDR400.

If you are clocking using the HTT too then multiply yout HTT by two and that will give you thr frequency of your ram (assuming 1:1)
