2GB stick

Hi there

Yes we have now decided to bring Kingston into our fold. Kingston have been attempting to get on board with ourselves for months and today they finally accepted my terms of dealing with OcUK.

So now we have Kingston, we can bring you the best deals in the UK in the lines we shall be offering. :)

The 2GB Modules and 4GB kits are exceptional value and ideal for Vista.

Also check out how cheap we have the 1200MHz 9600 Kit on our website for.

Corsair in our view has been going down hill, with increasing RMA rates and un-competitive pricing we decided it was time to let Kingston in who are I believe or so they say the worlds largest memory vendor. :)

Why is it I have an image of John Tu bending over...
What you choose to keep on your hard drive is your business :D

As for the question, I have no idea why you'd have such an image, but I guess it takes all sorts :p

Corsair going downhill ? that's a confident statement !In my opinion
Having used their ram for many years without issue
they are the best manufacturer of memory.Has ocuk had a bit of a fallout
/ profit margin issue there?.I dont think rma by customers can be judged
and is totally random maybe the next month another brand of ram will have the most rma.To me kingston is the tesco of ram whereas corsair is the marks and spencers. But having said that a 2 gig stick "with those specs"for that price is well worth consideration no matter the brand.

Hi there

Corsair is still a very strong seller for us and one that makes us a lot of money so there has been no fall out. But we cannot say that Corsair are as strong as they were say 12 months ago. Corsair are not as competitive as they normally are and the increase in some of their SKU's not running at the advertise speed has become common recently especially with some of the Dominator SKU's. This is very surprising because normally Corsair are one of the most reliable.

If you consider Corsair to be Marks & Spencer of RAM then where does Cellshock, G.Skill and Team RAM come then as they are ahead of Corsair in terms of value and overclockability.

HyperX is back :D

This stuff used to rock, and that 4gb kit looks exceptional :)

Hi there

Yes back in the DDR days Kingston had the best BH5 modules. I remember getting 277MHz from some PC3200 at CAS 2-2-2-5-1T which was very aggressive timings for that kind of FSB speed. :)

Its a bit different now with DDR2 as everybody is pretty much on a level playing field just some manufacturers offer some very nice cherry picked parts and some manufacturers like OCZ and GeIL offer incredible pricing, but the Kingston pricing is damn good too, especially for the 2GB modules. :)
