2gb to 4gb

Just wanting to know if I get another 2 sticks of 1gb ram to make it 4x1gb if it will affect my overclock on system in sig

i've just put in another 2x1gb of the ocz plat rev, total is now 4gb and i've have same mb (p5n-e sli). [email protected], ram@850mhz. Had no problems so far.

P5N-E works great with 4 sticks of ram. I currently run my C2D at 480fsb with 1T timings.

I've had trouble with my 'P5N-E' and 4GB of 'Geil' ram, in fact to get the PC to boot i've underclocked the ram...got a E6300 @2.5 so happy ish...

i'm not familar with the geil ram but have you tried raising the nb volts in bios and also setting your ram to correct volts.

Did you notice much of a performance increase with the futher 2GB ?

i've changed from vista 32bit with 2Gb ram to 64bit Vista with 4Gb and they both are fast and reliable. Not seen a big jump in performance but i've now got plenty of ram left over compared to the running on yer bum cheeks vista 32bit 2Gb

plus crysis in vista 64bit, plenty of ram won't go a miss

I upgraded from 2GB to 4GB this morning, and by god ive noticed a tremendous difference with Vista, its flying now.
