Hi all,

Looking at purchasing a monitor in the next couple of weeks.

Looking for something around the following specs:

- 1440p
- IPS panel. Photography is the main use case
- 27" or bigger. Although any bigger and then I'm looking at UWA or 4K monitors of which are out of budget.
- VESA Mount.
Budget - €400 absolute maximum.

Any suggestions? I've seen online the Iiyama XUB2792QSU-B1 which fits the bill. Also had Iiyama in the past and was pleased with the performance.

Thanks in advance. I will inevitably will do some gaming on it. But nothing which justifies a 144hz screen!

Cheers,
Jake

I don't think 400 Euro is going to get your 10bit panel unless you could stretch to around 500 Euro which would net you a Del 2718Q. Realistically I would say either a Dell U2715H or an Asus PB278Q (some places say this is 10bit but for the money I think it's 8bit + FRC) are more inline with your budget.

Hmmm, good point on the Dell. I am using the 24" equivalent at work, and it is fantastic. I can get the U2715H for €385 so it's within budget. around €40 more than the Iiyama. Going to look up comparison reviews between them.
