2nd ATI card for eyefinity in nVidia system?

hey all

Had a thought that i'd like a bit of clarification on, unsure if it would work but i know somebody here will have the answer

my system is powered by a nVidia GTX580 with 2x BenQ XL2411T monitors plugged into it.

I have 3 spare monitors in my house and was wondering, if I got an ATI card just for the use of eyefinity for these 3 spare displays, would that work? I dont plan on running any games on them, litterlaly just stats and system monitoring, web browsing etc... no heavy loads (thats what the GTX 580 is for)

thoughts?
 
IIRC if you install an ATi/AMD card alongside an Nvidia one the Nvidia drivers will disable PhysX. OcUK did used to sell a cheapo Nvidia card with 4x monitor outputs that would probably have done what you wanted but I don't see it anymore.
