Hi,this is a question for a friend of mine about his i pod.
As far as i can understand...he has lost his play list's on his i tune's.

What he wants to know is this....is there a program available that he can get his play list's from his i pod ?

Aslo one more thing.....has anyone replaced there battery in there i pod and how easy is it to do and where you got a battery from ?

Many thanks

not sure any apps support that iPod, someone might know better then me.

as for a battery a quick google should bring up some UK sites, I used ipodstop.co.uk when I wanted to replace my 4th Gen battery was easy enough but they don't list your friends model on there site.

Should be easier to do on the older iPods as there is more room to work with and it won't be glued in as heavily.

Batteries are also available from most high street electronics shops, specifically one well known web store.

I have looked for a battery for his ipod but cant seem to find one.

I think his i pod is to old as well for a battery, the trouble he has got is this.....he has 4 of these ipod's in his family and they are all the same...lol

All of them need there battery's changed and one ipod will not even fire up now.

If the iPods are otherwise functioning, Apple stores will swap them out for new ones with fresh batteries for £49 each, if you'd rather not crack the thing open yourself.

As the i pod's are all about 6 year's old now i think he wants to try to do the batteries himself.

Thanks a lot m8.....didnt think to look there....lol

;)

Have used their kit for the 3rd gen iPod, and it really is easy to do. The only even slightly difficult part is the initial splitting of the case, but once you have the tools worked in, it's really easy.
