Current GFX: GTX1080
Screen 1: 3440x1440 (gsync)
Screen 2: 2560x1440 (Gsync)

I want the cheapest silent card just to run The second screen, must have DP your suggestions?

i want to get a 2nd Graphics card to run the second screen due to the annoying issues such as:

Second screen HD video stutters, if game is loading on Screen #1
Alt+Tabbing is Longer if running 2 screens on 1 card. when running 3 its awful to use!
slightly lower frames if running multiple tasks on 2 screen. (talking 2-5fps but still counts :P)

i alt+tab a lot, around 50 times an hour.

I'm not sure a 2nd GPU will help in this scenario.

I've never had alt-tabbing be slow unless the GPU is running a game/app in exclusive fullscreen - does this happen even when you're running a borderless window? Slow alt-tabbing with exclusive fullscreen is just an unavoidable part of Windows' display driver - although I've noticed it's much faster in Windows 10 compared to 8 and 7.

Regarding the stuttering, is the video being read from the same HDD as your game?

Since you've got G-Sync running everything in borderless fullscreen should work well (Freesync doesn't work except in exclusive fullscreen :()
If you don't have it already look into a utility called Borderless Gaming.

Used to run a 3rd card + ski and it fixed the issue on win7 now on 10. In exclusive full screen

Video is YouTube

Will be using exclusive full screen
