2nd hand laptop

hi there,

I'm looking for a second hand laptop to replace my girlfriends laptop, which is slowly dying.

Its use would only be for word processing, playing music/films and internet. As long as it could handle those tasks at relative speed it would be cool.

As i said that i would buy it for her (as she's broke), i dont want to spend a fortune. Which is where my second hand idea comes in.

Oh and please dont think i'm being tight with my money! i would love to buy her a sexy new laptop but i dont have too many pounds in the bank either!


So, any suggestions for a good reliable 2nd hand model?

I think 15" is fine, memory can be upgraded by myself. Gfx are not important. Wifi is. CPU needs to be reasonable.

I know nothing of laptops, which is why i am asking for suggestions.

I think £200 is the max i could afford. But below that mark would be MUCH better.

Sadly tho, i dont think i can stretch to the £300 mark
