Afternoon,

My LG B9 is a little worst for wear and having a lot of issues so I've been looking at older 2nd hand oleds I'll list the modules below.

S95B
G1
G2
C2

What's are the pros and cons to these I saw the Samsung got praised for for picture quality but the UI was rubbish? Quite like the idea of 144hz though.

Is the G2 any better than its 2 lower tier brothers ?

I'm a bit lost as wit these new EVO and QD panels I want to get the best I can tbh.

It's will do 70%films 30% gaming I have a new AW3222QF I think it's called and the picture is next level so would like something in li e with that

What's your budget? I'm wary of buying 2nd hand oled as you've just said your B9 is having issues, without warranty if the replacement you buy does the same in 3 months you're screwed.

What sort of issues are you having with the B9? I've got a B9 currently and starting to see expanding dead pixels from the edges (a cluster of 12 pixels and growing in one area). My 5 year warranty is through a 3rd party and tempted to claim if its going to keep getting worse

I've been fairly lucky tbf I've owned 8 oleds so far, currently own 6 this and my 65c9 are the only 2 to fail the c9 I got brand new but was only a month away being out of warranty and was a massive argument to replace it with a oled wanted to send a 85" qled 60hz, I was like no chance lol.

The rest of my screens have been really good, just the one in the front has a green row of pixels and the black areas are starting to look cloudy, but it has been the most used screen as its in the front room.

See the comment above matey, also forgot to mention the hdmi ports some times drops out. Extremely annoying when gaming

Do a google on fibre optic hdmi cables and the Samsung 95C. Some reports of it solving black dropouts with a PS5 compared to standard copper hdmi cables. May be the same reason on your oled, which I believe is very fine tolerance on the data rate or handshaking.

It is fed via fiber hdmi 2.1 cable happens with netflix so definitely the set, I have my main pc in the loft with 2x fiber runs and 3 copper runs to the following

65 c1
55b9
Neo g8 32
Aw3225qw
65 Panasonic oled think its the 2000 model

All work fine but the b9 and the green line is off putting in dark environments tried different inputs and hdmi 1 on the worst 3 is every now and then, can't put it into 4 as it's at the rear and will snap the optical cable 2 seems the best but then I loose EARC to my q90r
