I had a Samsung CRG5 1080p 144hz VA, with the 5700-XT it would black screen and not recover, I in the end sold the 5700-XT and used the Samsung screen without issue on a R9 280x, then a GTX 970.
I researched more and found that people with a 5700-XT also had the same monitor, not a single one of them did not have this issue.
This is the monitor in use with the GTX 970.
I then upgraded my GPU to an RTX 2060 and upgraded to the Gigabyte M27Q monitor.
Video here...
Now I upgraded my RTX 2060 to the RTX 3070, perfect match for 1440P!
Video here...
I plugged in my XBOX One X for the first time into this monitor along side the DP connection from the PC and after removing the XBOX One X HDMI the screen will blank for around 3 seconds after minutes or so... gaming or not gaming.
So since this started, I updated my drivers to 511.65... the issue will now not go away.
So am going to try reinstalling Windows 11 fresh to see if it is that as I did an upgrade from 10 not a fresh install.
And the 5700-XT was used on Windows 10, it's not a Windows 11 problem.
If this continues I am done with high refresh rate monitors, not worth the hassle.
