But if you were only allowed to keep one of the two, which one would it be? Of course Android tablets have certain advantages over the iPad, but Apple is making a lot of money by offering the best overall package.

hard call really, and thats the honest answer. i couldnt actually give a proper answer - they both have their pros and cons.
i use my tab more, but i like the pad for longer flights.

I won't be buying one of these any time soon!, I mean they have the same screen as an 1st gen that I'm typing on now :D the cameras are not needed I cannot see a time when I will need to take out a huge device just to take a low res pic, i do like the White model though, the new CPU is nice but not needed for every day use. So not much has changed that would convince me to get the new one can't wait to see what happens to the iPad in the future!

this is the problem i have!

i dont have an ipad but want one, so do i go for a lower priced ipad 1 now the 2 is released, or do i get the ipad 2 just becuase its newer :D but it will cost me £100 more :/

Get a new one for the speed bump, especially if you're a nerd and like looking at pages like Engadget, plus when iOS 5 comes along, they'll probably be features that are iPhone 5/iPad 2 only.

good point ;)

i guess its a decision of size then really. thinking i will be wanting to upgrade to the IP5 in june to which will be another £600 maybe a 16gb will do!

Definately go for the new one Stinky.

I'm personally going for 32GB, I'll never get near 64GB (and probably not near 32GB either but there we go :p) and it does cost a fair whack more.

hmmm

Just sits there for me. I read this bit

Streaming video requires Safari 4 or 5 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Safari on iOS 3 or later.

to come to that conclusion. Is there a download link ?

I dont think so.

Just update Quicktime and then try in Firefox (I'm using this and its working quite well), or install Safari and try it.

think i worked out whats wrong.

if i try to access the link directly it directs to a .mov file which appears to be blocked by the proxy server at work.

Will have to wait till tomorrow when i finish work and can use my internet at home. Thanks anyway.
