Hi
I have had 512MB of DDR Ram running fine in an old ecs k7s5a for years. (kington, pc 2100 I think). Put 512 Mb extra in it the other day (crucial pc2700) but it didnt recognise it. In the boot screen it says: installed ddr memory slot 0 Also it still says 512 MB in windows. So I swap the memory round and it boots but is still only seeing slot 0 and 512MB. So obviously not a problem with RAM, but must be the slot. What to do?
Got a cheap 400W PSU in it. Have heard that can be the problem. Or memory timings in BIOS?
Thanks in advance
(Has Athlon XP 2400 in it)
