Not where I'd like to be
I’ve done a search on here, and on Google, but haven’t found anything conclusive so I thought I’d ask the good folk here.

Is it worth running a second monitor from the integrated graphics over running both from the GPU?

Cheers.

There's no particular advantage to it, no. Assuming you mean some kind of performance benefit.

There may even be a slight disadvantage from having to swap data between frame buffers but nothing to worry about.

Cheers. I thought it wouldn't make a difference in the scheme of things or it'd be a recommended option for CPU's with integrated graphics.

Not sure if it still applies, but some years ago, GPUs would use a higher idle clock when running 2+ monitors vs a single one, so there did used to be a small power saving.

It didn't react very well to dragging things like a Minecraft window between monitors though. I run 4 screens off my humble 1060 and it seems to do just fine :)

They still do (according to TPU's reviews), even the latest RX 6000 and RTX 3000, so this is potentially a big advantage at idle.
