With the weather closing in again its becoming more frequent for my mates to congregate with whomever has gaming grade laptops bringing theirs & we'll crank out a few lan games etc.
What i'd like to do; owing to the fact that I am usually the host; is get a 2nd gaming rig setup. I've got 2gb DDR2 800; a Hiper 580w PSU, ATI 2900XT, HDD, Screen and peripherals; So I'd like a Gaming grade Board/Case/Chip at a budget price, to match the kit above.
My main rig is in sig; and will be upgraded somewhere around easter next year with Nahelem or similar, so when that comes around my Quad, Ram etc will be passed down.
With that in mind, im looking to spend as little as poss; in the region of £200 notes, less if possible. So im torn between AMD/Intel at present. AMD offer some nice cheap boards, to match chips at a slightly lower price than intel, and then its just a case. I'd be pleased with matx, as long as it'll fit my full ATX PSU, and 2900XT, which is a bit of a beast
So what are your recommendations?
