2nd screen flickering in windows

I seem to be having a problem in windows with my second monitor

Every now and then it will flicker.
In linux all is fine so I'm guessing it maybe a driver issue

My GPU is a HD5770 and the second monitor is connected via VGA.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm thinking it maybe the BF3 beta drivers but was just thinking maybe someone has had this and knows how to fix it.
For now I might just unplug the 2nd screen when in windows as I only really use it for gaming.

id say maybe drivers if its fine under linux i get that in a way in bfbc2 the screen goes black when i run at times
