2x 2TB in RAID 1 or 3x 1TB in RAID 5?

I have a new HP microserver to replace my old QNAP and I'm looking at what drives to put in. I need around 2TB of space, and using WD Red I noticed there is very little difference in price between 2x 2TB drives and 3xTB drives.

I'll be using WHS 2011, so could do either RAID 1 or RAID 5. I don't need the performance bump of RAID 1 particularly (home server doing files, movies, downloads etc).

I can't see anything really to choose between them - given what ill use it for, is there any reason to go for one RAID type over another?

3 disks in RAID 5 will have potentially 50% faster read speeds than 2 disks in RAID 1, but RAID 5 write speeds are very slow. Go for RAID 1, it is easier to troubleshoot if a disk dies.
