2x gpu sli as physx

hello is it possible to have 2x 9800gt as physx cards working in sli, this would be with another gpu for main gaming.....

I don't believe such a setup is possible, or necessary.

Hi,

No. You cannot have two cards dedicated to PhysX simultaneously

Example Tri SLi: (Same GPU)
2 Way SLi

3rd card dedicated to PhysX

3 Way SLi

PhysX / Frame rendering done on card (x) non dedicated mode

Single GPU:

GPU (X) rendering

9800GT PhysX.



It's not possible to dedicate more than one card to PhysX.

i got my old machine back and it has 2x9800gt in sli, and i have a gainward 275 to go in as the main gpu, would the 275 be more powerfull than 2x9800gt..

in that case i will try to get another 275 to do sli with a 9800gt for physx....
