[Edit: I've been shopping, updated below]

I am building 2 servers, one based on a HP ProLiant ML110 G6 and the other HP Microserver and I would really appreciate any comments on suggested setup. This is a temporary solution (6-12months) before our office moves out of our house and install a proper setup (other thread).

*items not yet purchased

Server 1 - on site
SBS2011 standard & WHS2011 for office files, remote access, home media files, squeezebox.

HP ProLiant ML110 G6 G6950
Intel Xeon processor quad core X3450 2.66GHZ Socket 1156 8MB Retail
4x Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 ECC Reg w/Parity CL7 DIMM Quad Rank, x8 w/TS Intel
HighPoint RocketRAID 2720SGL (in 16x slot)
BlackGold BGT3650 Quad DVB-T2 TV Tuner (in 1x slot) with DVBlink
4x Western Digital Caviar Green WD20EARS 2TB 7200RPM 64MB

In the 2 ODD spaces I intend to install:
*2x Western Digital Caviar Green WD20EARS 2TB 7200RPM 64MB
1x Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 250GB 7200RPM 8MB (For the WHS2011 OS)

Internal USB socket
1x Kingston 16GB DataTraveller R500 For Hypervisor, an OS? and drivers etc

I intend to try:
ESXi + Solaris SE11 with ZFS + WHS2011 + SBS2011
I know nothing about ESXi or SE11 and have not yet tried either WHS2011 or SBS2011
So failing that,
RAID 10 probably prefered
RAID 5/6 TLER etc issues?

Server 2 - off site
Offsite Backup of Server 1 and emergency spare.
HP Microserver N40L
2x Kingston 4GB DDR3 1066MHz Memory Non-ECC CL7 1.5V
1x Seagate Barracuda LP ST32000542AS 2TB 5900RPM 32MB
3x WDC WD7500AACS 750Gb
1x DVD burner
1x Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 250GB 7200RPM 8MB
1x Kingston 16GB DataTraveller R500 For Hypervisor, an OS? and drivers etc
*OWC Multi-mount 3.5" to 5.25" bracket set

I have another copy of WHS2011, but maybe something else would be better?
I'm not sure how to set these drives up if they are for backing up server 1 over internet. JBOD?

Thank you for any help.
