2x Reservoirs ?

Would using a DDC pump top & reservoir (pic 1) with my EK 250 advance reservoir in the same loop, bearing in mind i'm using Mayhems aurora tharsis red.
If it is ok will I need to mod the the dividing plate I have (pic 2/3) and how it is now (roughly pic 4/5)

I can imagine a load of the stuff in the coolant getting stuck in that pump top.

Actually I run it for a while with the EK plate in the cpu block and there wasn't any clogging.
I do have other DDC tops to try watercool and a largeish xspc one.
