2x512 + 1x1024 for dual channel

will this work? i dont feel like forking out for a 2x1g when I already have 2x512 but i doubt 4x512 will work at 250mhz/2T.
in an old mb, 2x128 and 1x256 did work in dual chan

I'm not sure but I think it might do, if 2x128 and 1x256 did in the same board I can't see why not

Edit - Was the 2x128 and 1x256 in a different motherboard?
