2x8800GT on x38?

Topic says it all, I know SLI wont work on the x38 chipset but is it possible to run two 8800GTs for folding?
Anyone had any experiance with this, or do you recon it will cause problems?

I reckon it should work, as the two cards will run completely discretely with no communication between them. Just remember to add -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 to the end of your shortcut.

There seem to be some particularly sweet GPU WUs around at the moment - one's giving 6100ppd on my 8800GT...
