Hi i'm running my FX @200/16 with G-Skill la @3-3-3-8 anything more and it fails prime almost instantly i have been reading i should be getting more....could that be max or am i missing something? Evap head -55deg and bios reporting cpu -23 deg idle but that sounds wrong!!

id go up to 1.75 lol with that cooling, but hey thats me.

I run at at 1.71 24/7 on water and never hit 40 degrees.

all voltages 1 point above stock ie chipset etc ....Tried upping the fsb and droping the multi no diff 3.2 is max cant help thinking im missing something!!!! I have read threads where 3.4-3.5 is possible but with crazy voltages, which to be honest i'm not prepared to do 1.8 and above sounds like a deathwish for your cpu and they ain't cheep lol

Personally now I'd drop the multi to 15 and try working the HTT up gradually using 1.75vcore.

It will be fine at these voltages, but if you don't feel comfortable running yoru chip at it all the time that's no problem. It's just to see if the problem is volts related. :)

I wouldnt run 1.75v through it 24/7 though..

These chips are sensitive to voltage as much as they are to temps.

maybe an opty i'd run at that volts cos they are cheap. but not an fx57.

Hmm any ideas on stepping/week number?

I'd have thought 3.2 was pretty low for an fx57 under an LS.

Could try something like 190x17 or something and try working up higher that way

yeah i realise this ...thingis i can play X3 all day with no problems @ 200/17 but almost instantly fails prime maybe 2 mins i will get back to you with stepping etc

Ok this is strange it passes prime @ 200/17 1.67v if i use the small fft's option could it be my ram even @ 200 htt?????

If it passes with a higher multi then it does sound like a RAM related problem.

If you could post all your RAM settings that may give us a few ideas. :)
