3.5" Blanking Plate

Years ago I would have loads of these lying about and now I find I need one for an HP SFF PC I have and I cannot find any. Nobody seems to sell them (even auction sites). Any pointers anyone?

I'd have posted on the Members Market but I accumulated sufficient strikes over 20 years of use to get banned, not that I am bitter but a criminal conviction is spent after 5 years or less but not at OCUK Forums

I even tried messaging auction sellers of similar HP boxes to see if they sold parts

There is absolutely loads on auction site. "pc Blanking Plate" Don't tell me there isn't because I have just searched and there is 170 results.

You obviously didnt look at those 170 results. Not one was a 3.5" drive cover... But there was a £20 Alienware PC Blanking Plate which is 5.25"

could you put something like a 3.5" USB port bay, or a hot swap drive bay instead, or a card reader. at least it would fill the hole

Might be worth trying your local computer shop in case they have any spare. Maybe speak to OcUK incase they have any left over from builds or returns?

since they are specfic to case manufacturer and sometimes model, i think you have to use either a USB bay or HDD hot swap etc of some sort
