Are there such things? I can only find ones that support 3 fans, and the extra knob changes the LED glow on/off? My case doesn't have room for a 5.25" fan controller :(

I've got that one, it is great. Put 2 fans on the fan controllers. The third is for the CPU fan & won't turn off & as you say the third is for the LEDs (turn them down dim & they flicker with HDD activity)

I have actually found a "Revoltec" 3.5" fan controller with 4 fan support (£12 or so), but I would like to know of any other ones people can recommend?

The vantec nexus 3.5" 4x fan controller looks good but I can only find it in silver and it costs £25!!! I want black and preferably <£15.

this is probably what your looking for

opps its already been mentioned

Basic and does the Job, 3 fans and 2 USB 2.0 Ports. (I own the black one).

Edit, opps, you need 4 fans, At a guess you are going to control both Front and Rear case fans, so simply use a "Y Splitter and put both on same Knob". (check max rating of controler+fans 1st), it makes no sence to have both at different speeds.

Ah that splitter might be just what I am looking for. I currently have the black akasa fan controller but I dont like the fact that it has USB ports on it (I dont use them).

What case do you have? Could you just place the original 3.5" bay cover over the controller with holes cut for the fan speed knobs?

Akasa mirage - Hey thats a good idea :) I dont think I can take the front of the fan controller though, and the original bay would only a small amount of the knobs to stick out I think?

Yeah, i'd worried about that... i've used that fan controller in the past and the control knobs are tiny.

I wonder if you could either change the knobs or add/stick larger ones to the ones that are on already. Then they'd stick more proudly through the faceplate.

I might just buy this revoltec fan controller. The only thing which might bug me is the blue LEDs. I am the sort of person who puts bluetac on LEDs as I find them annoying - would these be easy to remove? Just simply pull them off?

Right, I have decided I want to go with the Xilence 3.5" fan controller (2 of them), but I need to know how the fans connect to it? What I mean is, does it just have 3pin fan headers on the PCB on the fan controller, or are extension cables supplied (as I would need to order them if not).

If any one has the controller could you please reply ASAP as I wanna get my order in before 5 :)

Bump :o

I really would like to get this ordered so I can have it before the weekend. Some one must have one of these fan controllers!

Could you please tell me how the fans are connected? Does the fan controller come with extension cables or do you need to plug the fans directly on to the fan controllers header?

P.S Thanks for the reply.

It has 3 connectors, one for the CPU this can't be turned off, only to very slow & 2 others. It comes with extension leads with different sized plugs on. If you need to control 4 fans put a a pair of fans on each fan connector.
