3.5Ghz 8 Core Intel CPU?

I was wondering if a 3.5Ghz or faster 8 Core Intel CPU will be coming out anytime soon?

the 5960x turbos to 3.5Ghz and easily overclocks. other than that you're probably waiting for Skylake-E chips

I thought Skylake are 4 core chips? Do you have a link that says they're 8 core?

Skylake-S are the i5/i7s that are about to be released and are max 4 cores. Skylake-E is supposed to be the next super-high end architecture to replace Haswell-E sometime in 2016/17.
