3 data sim not working

I purchased a 3 Mobile Broadband Ready to Go 3GB Preloaded Data Sim for 3G Mobile Devices. When I put it into my unlocked Huawei E586 Mi-Fi it says 'searching' then 'no network found'

I have tried two different 3 data sims and both do the same. When I try my tesco mobile sim card it comes up with o2 and works fine so I dont think it is the device.

I have tried a hard reset on the device and rebooting on the console page (which I can get to)

Do you need to activate the 3 data sims first or something :confused:
 
Nope just plug in and they work, used several of them.

Are you sure you have decent three coverage in your area? Maybe try somewhere else?

Are you also sure your MiFi is unlocked?

I'm in Leeds city centre. I'm sure it should work

positive, its a 3 Mi-Fi and my Tesco mobile sim works in it
