3 Monitor Portrait Eyefinity Setup

Just in case anyone is interested (and Mynight asked) here are a few pics of my eyefinity setup.

I've used 3 Samsung S23C650D monitors, 2 on DisplayPort and one using DVI being run by my Radeon 7870 :)

Yeah I'm probably going to switch around especially for games like Dirt 3 but space is an issue at the moment. But for playing an MMO or similar it works really well :D
 
Looks pretty cool, not sure I could cope with the bezel though! Do you find the bezels take away from the immersion if any particular games?
 
Funnily enough I don't really, especially after tweaking the bezel compensation. Those Samsung monitors do have a relatively slim bezel compared to a lot of monitors and most importantly the bezel along the bottom isn't large which is a problem with most if you want to use portrait. I was thinking about having the centre monitor slightly in front of the other two to see how that would look. The bars are a bit distracting at first but you get used to them fairly quickly :)

I did see one person actually removed the casing to almost eliminate the bezel but I've not been brave enough to consider that yet :P
 
looks good mate, I've just switched over to Eyefinity 3 x AOC i23 vm's and so far it's great. I was given a little trick for alignment, the 2 outer monitors are set up with the bezel and black inside border, just slightly behind the midle screen. it's a bit odd for the first 10 15 mins or so but after that it is awesome.

 
Yeah I was going to give that a go to minimise the bezel just not got round to it yet :) It is annoying if I accidentally knock one monitor and they all go slightly out of alignment, but that's just me being clumsy :p

You should give it a go mate, I went back to the regular way to line them up yesterday just to see if there was a difference. It lasted all of a few mins, it just felt strange
 
My eyefinity I also have the 2 outer screens behind the main monitor to reduce the bezel amount. It is the best way to reduce distance between screens
