3 Monitor Setup Eyefinity

Hello

I would like your advice on a 3 Monitor Eyefinity setup, I ha posted o#in the video card section to get what video card to get and I think I would be going for a ATI 7970, and a second later in the year to CF.

I currently have a 24" dell monitor (old about 8 years) its res is 1920x1200 still going great, but with some xmas bonus money I was thinking about getting a 3 Monitor setup, I would love to get 2 more dell at 1920x1200 but thats just to expensive so I was thinking 3 new monitors all same brand/model to get a 3 monitor setup going and I would use current monitor on my Spare system which is used for email and web browsing.

Ok so would I notice a differance if I got 3 23" montors at 1920x1080 res from my current 1920x1200 res?
What would be the down side? I'm a gamer at heart and thats all I would use it for.

Also which monitors would you recommend?

Whatever you go for ensure you get monitors that can be rotated. This way you will get the benefits of Landscape and Portrait Eyefinity depending on the game in question.

Personally I find Landscape Eyefinity to be too wide whereas Portrait Eyefinity just right for a combination of gaming and productivity.

I run three LG IPS231P monitors and can't really fault them for the price (I don't know if they are still available or not anymore).
