I'm aware the Haswell iGPU supports 3 monitors, but it seems unclear to me whether every motherboard can drive 3 at once. I've read numerous things, some saying that it can, as long as 2 of the connections are display port - but generally mentioned in the same breath as Sandy or Ivy rather than Haswell.
I've been looking at this motherboard:
MSI Z87 Mpower SP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard @ £149.99 inc VAT
It has 2 HDMI and 1 DP - Can anyone tell me if that mobo can run 3 monitors, and if it is as simple as plugging in 2 HDMI and a DP cable?
