A friend of mine now fancies the idea of running 3 or more displays, all of which will be TFTs).
He's just about to get a PC with a 7900GT installed. The GT will have twin DVI outputs.
How would he go about getting additional outputs? If he had a motherboard with SLI and ran two graphics cards, would that allow it?

Apologies if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find anything obvious on a search.

been researching this for a system for my dad.

Another card in an SLI board will do it. It does not need to be the same card if all he wants is up to 4 monitors, however if he gets another 7800 GT he will have the option of sli as well

The other way would be to get 2 normal PCI cards however thess dont have DVI i dont think and they are expensive compared to a cheap 6200 PCI-E

hope this helps
