K guys I Just got my new ASRock 775Dual-VSTA and im currently connecting it up, but ive hit a problem. I only have 1 3pin fan connector on the mobo and my Antec trueblue psu has a 3pin fan monitor connection and I also have a front fan setup on my p160 case which uses a 3 pin connector.

Which 1 do I connect to the 3pin connector?

I apologise if this is in the wrong section, wasnt sure whether to go here or cooling section,I apologise If I was wrong.

I believe I do have a spare fan molex connector :)

So exactly which adaptor do i need to turn my psu 3pin into a molex connector? Is it this one?

Akasa 3-pin to 4-pin Adapter Cable (CB-007-GE)

or this one is an option right?
Akasa AK-FY320 3 Pin Fan cable splitter (CB-013-AK)

thx for the info Ill leave my PSu monitor until I get another way of connecting it and just leave it for now

Both wires would work, you'll lose rpm monitoring with the 4 pin adaptor (CB-007-GE) and the 2nd 3pin block with only two wires on the splitter (CB-013-AK).
I'd also use the fan straight to the mobo and not bother with the PSU. You can still use Speedfan or similar to reduce fan speeds/noise then.

Why would you even want to monitor PSU fan speeds?
Never bothered myself before, just pulled this from Enermax FAQ:

What's the function for the 3 pin housing?

The power supply has a 3 pin housing as Fan Monitor Connector (FMC), with two wires attached, which M/B uses to monitor the speed (RPM) of the 8cm power fan. Please refer to the M/B user guide in order to check if M/B contains power fan connector (could be printed on M/B as "PWR_FAN" or "PWR FAN") as a standard feature or not.

Note:If M/B has no such terminal for FMC or FMC is not connected to M/B, 8cm fan shall be working normally but no RPM reading is available.

FC & FCA series: the power supply has a 3 pin housing as Fan Monitor Connector (FMC), with three wires attached, which M/B uses to:

Monitor the speed (RPM) of 8cm fan
Stop 8cm fan as system switches to sleeping mode (S1 mode as defined in ACPI)
Power up cooling fan attached to this connector as System power on or wake-up.
Please refer to the user guide of M/B you use in order to check if M/B contains power fan connector (could be printed on M/B as "PWR_FAN" or "PWR FAN") as its standard feature or not.

Note: Due to circuit design of FC power supply, the electricity to power up 8cm fan comes from M/B not from power supply itself. If M/B does not offer such terminal for FMC or FMC is not connected to M/B:

The 8cm fan shall not spin even after system powers on.
No RPM reading is available
