I want to run 2 3 pin fans for my CPU heatsink at the same RPM but with the RPM of the fans being upped as the temperature rises. I currently have this working with one fan but I am forced to run the other on another header which runs at a different RPM so the 2 fans are running at different speeds. The RPM from the CPU header is being controlled via voltage (set in the bios) and I am wondering if THIS would run the 2 fans at the same speed while also giving my mobo the RPM information of 1 of the fans (the 2 fans are the same) so my mobo can adjust the rpm accordingly?

I hope this makes sense :D
Thanks

That should do exactly what you want, it'll read the speed of one of the fans but send both the same voltage. Then simply set the fan to pwm/silent (whatever setting it is in the bios) and the mobo will speed up the fans as temps increase.
