What amazes me is people are still claiming there isn't a major problem with 360's failing and it's just a very vocal minority with problems :rolleyes:

I think the 360 problem could be bigger than the PS1 laser problem.

If find it weird that my 360 is in possible the worst place possible, and as of yet hasn't failed. Carpet, not well ventilated and in a very hot room =/. I did have the 3 lights up at uni, but then realised my power pack wasn't in properly

if i remember correctly, the power supply circuit on the PS1 was near the laser unit.

this warmed the laser casing which made the laser lens sink down a little, so couldnt read any of the disks!

My first PS1 after a while I had to play games upside down due to the laser.

I've had the random freezing problem aswell with my 360 sent it for repair and they got it today, how long did it take for you guys to get it back, and did you receive any confirmation emails from them telling you that they had recieved it?

Just wondering as I know they've got it as I can track the parcel but I haven't had a email from them yet since I spoke to the technition on the phone last week.
