3 Red Ring Warning?

Hey all,

Was playing Darksiders for a fair few hours yesterday and slowly the FPS seemed to dip over the day an issue I’m sure the 360 should not have.

I came to switch it on just now and saw 3 red lights (Well looked like 4 but one was dimmed so I am assuming 3), turned it off and on still the same.

However once I removed and re-plugged the power supply into the back of the system it started working again...

Just wondering if this is a sign of things to come, or if it would be a one off due to loose cables or the like?

Yeah its probably going to die....is it under warranty still?

I had mine do this, it lasted another year before going, so you could be lucky. It was just a loose cable or the HDD luckily I read the sticky on here and it told me to take it all apart and reconnect, when I did it was working again.
 
If it was 4 lights it means that a video cable is loose so it might be worth checking that? I've had a 3 red ring before and my xbox has been running fine for over a year since so don't worry about it too much, you do have a 3 year warranty :)
 
Yeah similar to above, I had a power surge cause 3 red lights on my system. Turned it off at the mains and back on. Not had a problem since, This was about a year ago btw. It also prompted me to go out and buy a Belkin Surgemaster :p
