Hi All, I was going to just upgrade my gfx card but decided that its just not worth it. Considering I have not spent a penny on my PC in over 4 years now (I think) it might just be worth getting a brand new build.

So, here is my current choices. Please let me know how close I am to the mark. Remember, it will be used with my 3 dell 24" ips screens (1900 x 1200 each)

What do you think? any changes?

The current PSU is a 500w corsair I think, well respected at the time so should be ok.

Any ideas or changes? My main worry is the RAM. I will be using the PC for Work, Crysis3, FarCry3 and maybe some flight sims.

Any help will be appreciated. P.s how do you get the nice formatting from the basket?

p.s I don't really have the time to OC it to the extreme so just air cooled and easy overclocking is my target. I am hoping to get 4.4 out of it without spending more than an hour or so?

Thanks. What RAM do you recommend? Do i really need 2400 ram for a 4.4gig OC? Also, would stock cooler be ok to start with or should I get something a bit better from the offset? I would like the PC not to be too loud when not gaming.

faxfan - The plan is to play some games on 3 monitors. However, cant really afford more than the price of a gtx 780 so will stick with that and maybe get another one in 6 months or so. Not too bothered about AA etc so settings don't need to be at 100%

Shiari - Can you recommend a good but not too noisy hsf? This will be used as an office PC during the day so I don't want it sounding like a rocket taking off.

Gigabyte Z87X-OC - Is this the version of this MB that I need? Whats the difference between this and the £50 cheaper one?

Don't really want to go for SLI at the moment. Something to consider at a later date.
Oliver, thanks for the info and advice. May I ask why go for the MSI over the GB OC as they are both the same price? Is the MSI easier for a simple overclock?
