Hey,

First up. Is there anyway to increase the max draw distance in wow beyond that which is shown in the option menu? I dont like when I see grass and whatever pop in to view as I am walking :(

What is the BEST DPS calculator for myself? I am trying to improve my character at the moment.

Next, What is good level 70 gear to aim for a Shadow Priest that is quick to get, so I can start doing more serious stuff?I was thinking of the Shadow Weave stuff?

Thanks :)

I believe that the draw distance can be affected by latenency, but i'm not 100% sure on that. Could be a poor connection or lame server in that case.

No idea for DPS sorry. I just hit stuff till it dies. If they dont die fast enough, i get more enchants/gems/gear :P

Go for the stamina stuff. i've forgotten what its called (im really tired today sorry) but its like battleweave or something. Shadowweave is nice but i would have taken the stamina for my shad-priest.

Battlecast or Spellstrike head/pants, Frozen Shadoweave chest/shoulders/feet, Bracers of Havok and Girdle of Ruination are the best gear around for a Shadowpriest who isnt in Hyjal/Black Temple or at least deep into Serpentshrine and Tempest Keep.

Frozen Shadoweave + Battlecast set from tailoring is superb. Really, Really superb.

I've just started getting Tier 5 things on my Warlock and the Tailoring stuff is really almost as good. Tier 5 looks a whole lot better though! You can grind up tailoring very very fast if you pour money into it. The Oblivion set from the dungeons is also fairly easy to get, But it does not have set boni which would help a SPriest however.

Not certain what you mean by DPS calc. You mean a Damage monitoring addon? Use SW Stats for that. Critline to measure you critical strike records.

Fog distance is limited to the menu-max, Grass can be changed in the game settings if you open them with notepad etc. Can screw it up easily though if you do not know what you are doing.

Yeah, I mean a Damage monitoring Addon, so I can see how much damage I am doing per second and stuff.

Problem with shadow weave, doesnt it take AGES to make one thing though, because of the cooldown time?

Jokester (or anyother mod) can you rename the thread to 3 simple wow Questions please, I missed out a few letters as on phone and wasnt concentrating :(

You can swap your primal mooncloth and the other one for shadoweave with you guilidies, doesn't take long to get the cloths you need if you do that.

Go to Skettis and grind out 40 Primal Waters. It should take most of a day and you'll need them for the crafting. Go back the following day and grind another 40. Flog them on the AH and buy the Shadowcloth.

You should get the shadow weave stuff as mentioned along with spellstrike. These are the best items pre raid.

With regards to your DPS question :- Recap is what you should download along with SW stats. SW stats with show overall damage for you and pet/party and Recap will show resist rates miss rates DPS and all sorts.

What file do you need to edit and which folder is it in, wouldn't mind giving that a go.

WTF Folder / Config.wtf

I could not find the line for the distance, Can't quite remember what it was now, Might have been a line you add yourself actually. Frilldensity will make the grass and things around you be a lot thicker though if you double its default value. Couple of other settings to play around with also in there, a lot of them are self explanitory.
