I've been looking for 3 TVs for my flight simulator but am struggling to choose. Now that the 2020 Samsung range has come out they look amazing but very pricey compared to 2019.

Layout is as so with side TVs at a 60 degree angle:

The 75" TU7000 is £799, but it has the worst viewing angles and reflection compared to their more expensive models. The 75" Q70R is £1799 and has slightly better viewing angles and reflections. But the best is the 75" Q80T at £3499 that has an 'Ultra Viewing Angle' layer that improves viewing angles at the expense of native contrast ratio and diffuses light differently than most TVs, and instead it scatters the reflection across the screen.

You got a build log anywhere? Interesting to see what you're doing :)

Looks like you've got quite the budget (and space!) for this. Just wondering if you've tried VR? Realise that it doesn't replace a sim cockpit but after pursuing building my own rig for a short period of time I'm not sure I'd go back - espeically when VR is only getting better.

Although... now that I'm all in on VR I'm hoping to build a 6DOF motion platform at some point... so it's defintely not a space or cost saving option! :D

EDIT: Sorry, meant to chip in with regards to your oringal question - you considered looking at secondhand curved TVs? Not really produced any more but I bet they'd be great for that kind of thing.

If the OP is going with MS2020, VR is currently not an option.
Have to say that I have tried the beta 11.5 version of Xplane, and that now runs and looks really well in VR.

I'm a DCS player in VR and there's no way I'd be willing to go back to a flat monitor.

Think most major fight sims have VR. Prepar, xplane, aerofly and DCS are the ones I have. Would be a shame if MS don't embrace this.

It's tricky, because MS20 is supposed to have HDR, otherwise I'd have just said get 3x IPS TVs. And you also want them at 75" else OLED might've been a cheeky option as well. Truth be told even if you'd get 3x Q80T I'm not sure it's really gonna work out that well for the price, and HDR at an angle on any LCD no matter how good its viewing angle tech is still gonna be rough.
