The bane of my life today, a total shed of a JCB...

Thats it after having the front and rear props stripped off and new UJ's fitted...

...some old UJ's...

...and the front prop on its way to being rebuilt.

We also stripped out the front halfshafts for rebuild, although the front N/S needs bits replacing as some dolt has welded the UJ's into place to try and stop the movement in them!. The steering has had all the bushes replaced, the handbrake pads had fallen out, one front and both rear lights have been replaced, the bolts had fallen out of the torque convertor so the engine was sat at an angle and the fan was catching the radiator cowling and making one hell of a racket, the bolts holding the steering arms in place had snapped off and the pins were jumping in and out, a couple of the pins holding the front bucket in place were hanging out, the list goes on...

...and breathe!. I would have taken some more pics of it in bits but the battery went falt on my phone, still...i'm sure it will still be where i left it tomorrow...i may take some more then!.
:)

i have no experiance of those things, can you tell me how exactly one could get into that state? is it down to neglect or shear misuse?

hey, at least the wheel bearings aint full of pig manure like the MF i was learning on for my agricultural engineering, that stuff was everywere!! :)

lol

had to mend a puncture on my scraper tractor today -that was pretty rank :(
not in the same league as pig poo tho :)

Is that a 3cx? Not kept up on my machines since stopping driving them a good few years ago. At least as mentioned above, it looks nice and clean so no pig **** to clean up. (how many hours has it done out of interest?)

Never had much luck with JCB, always did better with CASE (yes, shocking i know! ) and CAT machines.

How about the insulting tone? The pointless question which if one applied common sense he could have answered himself without even posting?

EDIT: oops, carp editing, sorry!
