+30% +50% Lightbulbs

Are these actually worth the money over standard Haylogen bulbs?

A set of +50% bulbs for both H7 and H1 fitments will set you back £40-50 depending on brand chosen. That's quite a bit of money

Are they actually worth it?

On my Pulsar I simply fit 90/100w bulbs and they were excellent, passed the MOT too; but I don't think i'll be able to get away with that on the Saab

The standard haylogen bulbs are a bit weedy and I missed the year they introduced Xenon lighting :(
 
I got the +50% halfords units on the buy one get one free offer they have, much better than the standard Renault units in my 2004 clio, my dad has some in the primera with similar results.

Was running them in the Mazda but i'm now Bixenon :)
 
I put 4 H1 50%+ jobbies from Powerbulbs in the wifes astra, didn't make the slightest bit of difference. £20 down the pan. Think i'll just stick to hanging as many spotlights as the alternator can handle :D
